Aztek is proud to announce the second year of their sponsorship of the NEOSA Cool Tech Challenge.  (www.cooltechchallenge.org). The annual contest gives Cleveland area high-school students an opportunity to design and develop a website for the chance to win scholarship money, gift cards, and other prizes donated by other local sponsors.

Nearly seventy (70) teams registered to participate this year and almost fifty (50) teams submitted sites for the judges to review. Scholarships will be presented at the 2009 NEOSA Best of Tech Awards on May 19, 2009

Aztek’s development team was instrumental in determining the web site hosting architecture from hosting platform to domain name (DNS) configuration to the production launch at Aztek’s datacenter. Participants were given the ability to choose their hosting platform, Windows 2008 (IIS 7.0) or a UNIX-based option and were also able to determine their web site address (domain name). Aztek also facilitated the web site file submission process and handled the Windows 2008 server setup and configuration.

Once the sites were set up, members of Aztek's design team participate in the final judging of the student entries.

Who are these guys anyway?

Aztek is a web design, web application development, web marketing, and hosting firm in Cleveland Ohio. We’ve been around for more than 15 years, and we’ve worked with more than 600 clients. Aztek is not affiliated with the unfortunate car of the same name, nor are we descended from a fifteenth century Mesoamerican civilization. At least, not that we know of.
