If you're on the Vocon website, you're going to look at their project portfolio.
The project portfolio is the most important piece of the Vocon website. The projects are made up of different, smaller content components, including:
- Related services
- Related projects
- Square footage
- Client name
- Project name
Because of all these little pieces that make up a project, the content management needed to be simple while mirroring the necessary page structure.
So when Vocon has to add a new project through their CMS, they don't have to worry about remembering what sections belong on a project. They don't have to worry about recreating the layout every time. And, if they ever want to change it in the future, we can just change the template without having to go back into every project. They don't have to worry about what happens is a project doesn't have content for every single section - the site is smart enough to not render it on the front end. All they have to do is worry about placing simple text and images. The site that Aztek built takes care of the rest.. And, if they ever want to change it in the future, we can just change the template without having to go back into every project. They don't have to worry about what happens if a project doesn't have content for every single section. The site is smart enough to hide empty content areas so no one will ever know. All Vocon has to do is place simple text and images, the site that Aztek built takes care of the rest.
Every project is different and requires a range of components to accomplish the goals. Here’s what went into this one.
Responsive Web Design
“Vocon recently launched a new website, the 2nd one we’ve completed with Aztek as our partner, and we’re very pleased with our new site. The Aztek team was very flexible and accommodating throughout our process and no question was left unanswered - and believe me, we had many! When planning for the build and launch of our new site, Aztek was able to help us set realistic goals and prioritize to allow this unique project to fit within our day to day workload. This was critical for allowing us to make our new site a reality!”
